Berretin Election Ride

This is the *last* Berretin bike ride before the election. I’m giving away free Obama spoke cards to the first 10 riders at Staccato Gelato. (For our snowbirds who have left for Florida, you have your work cut out for you.)

While it’s still too early to celebrate some things, one thing is for certain: we can look forward to is the imminent implementation of the Clean Air Act (SB571) Oh yeah…January 1, 2009. It’s been a long wait, but there are only two more months until the PPAA will join our neighbors to the south (Argentina) for smoke free milongas!

Didn’t get enough clean air to breathe Monday night? Take in plenty of fresh air while sparing the air for others and enjoy the quiet night ride through southeast Portland to Tango Berretin. Are cars the new cigarettes? You’re thinking I made that up. Nope:

Did I mention this is a message about bike riding? Here are the details:

Date: November 1
Meetup Time: 9:00 – 9:30pm
Place: Staccato Gelato (NE 28th and Everett)

The ride takes a leisurely 30 minutes.
If you don’t have a white front light for your bike go get one now!
